Cooling Rate of Materials with Various Techniques

Table 3041 lists the cooling rates of materials or melts with various techniques. The highest achievable cooling rate is based on laser quenching technique. However, this method is limited to small droplets corresponding to the spot size of highly intense laser beam. Table 3041.
