Main and Satellites Reflections in Electron Diffraction Patterns

It is not simple to distinguish main and satellites reflections for quasicrystals. In the investigation of complex misfit structures, the electron diffraction observation in TEM is very important since it usually shows the presence of satellite reflections which are often too weak to be seen in X-ray diffraction patterns.
