The titanium valence in LaTiO3 is 3+. LaTiO3 has perovskite crystalline structure and has one d electron per site. Strong Coulomb repulsion in this material results in a Mott–Hubbard insulator [1]. The lattice constant for LaTiO3 is 3.97 Å.
