Computer vision is a field of study and technology that focuses on developing computational methods for analyzing and understanding digital images or videos. The goal of computer vision is to enable machines to interpret visual information in a way that is similar to the human visual system.

Computer vision involves the development of algorithms and models that can perform tasks such as image recognition, object detection, image segmentation, facial recognition, and more. These algorithms use mathematical and computational techniques to extract meaningful information from visual data, allowing machines to make decisions or take actions based on what they "see." 

Computer vision is actually a broad and interdisciplinary field that intersects with computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, image processing, and other related disciplines. The applications of computer vision range from autonomous vehicles and robotics to medical image analysis and augmented reality. 

In computer vision tasks, datasets may consist of images. Image datasets can be organized in folders, where each folder represents a class, and images within the folder belong to that class.
