Robotic process automation (RPA) is a system of using software robots to execute the tedious, painful business. Robots take tasks that can be performed by people and make them more reliable and efficient through automation. Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is the use of software with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) capabilities to handle high-volume, repeated tasks that previously required humans to perform. RPA people can use these software robots to be more productive, more engaging, more human. For instance, a robotic assitant can sit on an employee’s desktop and it loaded with automations to improve personal productivity, create departmental efficiency, as well as streamline company-wide operations.

Example of RPA process:
         Step 1) Data from documents.
Step 2) Data is automated by robots.
         Step 3) Data processed hassle-free.

Common features of RPA tools are:
         i) Most of RPA tools are built on .NET framework.
ii) Most of these tools follow a client server architecture.
iii) Many prominent tools provide certifications.
iv) Citrix automation is offered by many tools.

In applications, RPA can help:
         i) Query.
         ii) Calculate.
         iii) Make transactions.
         iv) Maintain records.
         v) Assess documents.
         vi) Prepare documents.
         vii) Create new data.
viii) Initiate mailing of offer letters.
ix) Streamline information across the systems.

RPA tools in the market are:
         i) Blue prism
         ii) UiPath
         iii) Automation Anywhere
         iv) Pegasystems
         v) WorkFusion
         vi) NICE
         vii) Kryon
         viii) EdgeVerve
         ix) Kofax
         x) Thoughtonomy
         xi) Redwood Software
         xii) Contextor
         xiii) Softomotive
         ix) AntWorks
         x) Another Monday
