For EMs, there are a couple of methods of measuring the electron beam or probe current, for instance, below:
        i) For conventional TEMs, it can be measured using an ammeter behind the small phosphorus viewing screen.
        i) For STEMs with an EELS system, it can be measured with the EELS spectrometer.
