Ferromagnets are the magnetic analogy of ferroelectric materials. A ferromagnetic substance, such as iron, can hold a permanent magnetization. However, above the so-called Curie point, the magnetization vanishes. Such change in magnetic properties is related to the change in the internal order of the crystal due to phase transition.
