The light microscopes, also called optical microscopes, are a type of microscopes that uses visible light and a system of optical lenses to magnify the images of small objects. These objects are normally invisible by human eyes. The basic structure of the light microscopes can be very simple even though many complex microscopes have been designed and developed in order to improve the resolution and contrast. The main advantages of the light microscopes are:
        i) Easy to produce,
        ii) Easy to operate,
iii) Use visible light so that the samples may be observed by human eyes.
