| There are two modes for plastic deformation of metallic glasses. [1, 2] At high temperatures and low stresses, a homogeneous flow occurs, while at low temperatures and high stresses, the deformation presents an extreme inhomogeneity, that is, the plastic strain is localized in the shear bands.
