Deflection Angle in Off-axis Electron Holography

 

The deflection angle in electron holography is controlled by the applied voltage to the filament electrode, and the applied voltage is limited by the electric discharge, e.g. ≤ 300 V for some systems. In the case of off-axis electron holography in TEMs as shown in Figure 4204, the deflection angle is the angle α.
