With stereographic projections, we can easily visualize crystallographic features:
        i) Crystal symmetry.
        ii) Slip planes and directions.
        iii) Crystal planes and orientation relationships.
        iv) Grain orientations.

To obtain the orientation relationship between two crystals, we need to know more than one [UVW] for each crystal. In this determination process, we normally index the electron diffraction patterns of the crystals first.
