The diffraction pattern from a triclinic crystal with the point group of -1 is centrosymmetric. Such crystals exhibit four pairs of reflections in intensity: Ihkl = I-h-k-l, I-hkl = Ih-k-l, Ih-kl = I-hk-l, and Ihk-l = I-h-kl. These reflection pairs are so-called Friedel pairs.
