(110) plane of the unit cell of ReSi1.75 (Space Group P1) compared to the (110) plane of the
orthorhombic cell of "ReSi2" (Space Group Irnmm). The Si 3 and Si 4 sites in the ReSi1.75 structure
are only partially occupied. [1] Here, the symmetry of the crystal structure has to be reduced in the space group P1 as a result of a monoclinic distortion of the C11b structure. [1]
